At DVB we spend our waking hours taking a second look at what defines a traditional style, and from there, we give the recipe boundaries a bit of a nudge. Yeah sure it might not please the Purity Police… but actually, we’re ok with that ;)

This and Red Rascal were our first commercial brews. The EXPATRIATE is an American Pale Ale leaving the homeland in exploration of something more. It had no idea it would find New Zealand but the hops were too good to pass

This easy drinking NZ Pilsner starts with a traditional Pilsner malt base and mixes the dynamic Aotearoa hop duo of Nelson Sav and Rakau to bring a start to finish crisp and balanced character.

Smooth Operator Cream Ale is a 19th-century American style brew designed to keep you coming back for more, with a slight touch of whole bean vanilla and Gisborne’s finest honey.

Spruce Juice is our fifth edition in our Juicy- Hazy IPA Series. We are bringing you the juice that is as spruce as a goose on the loose. With this drop dancing on your tongue, every night can feel like a Friday.

Flavours: Citra Azacca and Mosaic come to the dance as refreshing tropical and cirus notes. To partner with the bold hop profile we have jumbo oats and flaked wheat in the grist (grain bill) soothing the finish on your palate.
